this batch is an oiled chestnut leather suede seat, the underside is padded neoprene soft underside.

The Polocrosse Deluxe is a top of the line competition saddle designed for the serious rider.

It is built on a double reinforced fiberglass tree. The fender is fitted to a traditional stirrup bar, not the cheaper tree fitting. The knee pads are hand shaped leather fitted to the saddle in the traditional way as opposed to the knee pad being part of the mould of the tree.

The seat is deep and comfortable with the knee pads shaped to give maximum support and security but still allow you to get well forward to get the ball.

This model is designed to give the feel of the traditional "gooseneck" stock saddle. It feels narrower under the rider and gives a very comfortable feel when you sit in it.

This saddle is built to fit both the  Australian Stock Horse shape that you find in today in top performance horses.

Leather selection is softer  The material covering the saddle is hard-wearing but a softer less stiff leather than in the heavy-duty saddles . The leather is all rough out leather. This type of finish is popular in Queensland and on many cattle stations. It is durable and low maintence. But does look different to face leather. We have discounted to clear as this finish is not as popular as face leather in Southers states.The pictures show the saddle in unoiled state. It looks a little pale. When oiled the leather comes up as a dark burgandy and looks very attractive.

The fenders are hung off stirrup bars in the correct manner. The fenders themselves are reinforced web backed with strong buckles. Competition strength.

There is Dee ring fitting for fitting breastplates etc.
