This saddle features a 4-inch cantle, swell wade gullet, a 4 7/8-inch horn and a 4 with a 1/2-inch cap as standard with a 3-way rig girth system for flexibility in the saddle's positioning. The cinch is the latigo western girth (included with the saddle) and has a built in neoprene shock absorption layer that is lined with a white faux fur lining on the underside.
Full quarter horse bars.
The tree is a one-piece moulded fibreglass tree, set on full quarter horse bars.
Saddles that are not wide enough restrict the horse’s shoulder movement and may limit the horses’ overall performance. A saddle that is too narrow cannot be adjusted to fit on a wide horse. This differs to a wide saddle that can be adjusted to fit a narrow horse by adding additional padding under your saddle.
Short Backed Wade Saddle
This model is very short for a western saddle. The 16 inch inside seat still only has an overall length of 25 inches.
Cowboy dressage
Cowboy dressage is a growing sport. For women particularly the saddle should be narrow in the twist, like a dressage saddle. The seat is shaped and padded to allow the rider to sit well in the saddle. Many ladies use the wade model for Cowboy dressage.
The matching bridle and breastplate set (sold separately) makes this a very nice show proposition.
Shock absorber built-in for your horse's comfort.
There is an added shock absorber built in to protect your horse's back. There is a layer of neoprene built under the tree and before the forex "fur" lining.
Reasons to buy your Saddle from an Australian Company and NOT a U.S. website?
1. With our bulk buying and cheaper freight, you will save money when you add in all the hidden costs of importing a saddle to Australia.
2. We offer a 5-year warranty on all Saddles we sell in Australia.
3. No hidden costs. We have paid the import costs, including the required quarantine inspections and import duty. These additional costs can be up to $280 per saddle. Check carefully. The U.S. website will not declare this information.
4. Currency conversion. The dollar amount in U.S. dollars looks cheap. Do the currency conversion, the bank charges, freight costs, the cost of import and then look again.
5. We offer a 5-day trial period on all saddles in Australia so that you can check the quality and fit of the saddle. If it is not right, we offer a return or swap policy. No U.S. website offers this to Australian customers.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not supply or support any warranty on products imported directly from the U.S., even if it is the same brand. If you buy direct from the U.S.A., your warranty is with the U.S. company you purchased from. This can result in warranty claims being expensive and not cost-effective.
SADDLE SIZING:
We offer free saddle sizing to all our customers. There are many factors that influence what size saddle will be most suitable for you and your horse. These include your height and weight, the horse’s size as well as various factors on the saddle itself.
To add to the complication of saddle sizing, there are different techniques used to measure saddles. This means a 15” saddle may be considered both a small saddle or a large saddle depending on how it was measured. For this reason, we offer free saddle sizing to all our customers to ensure you get the perfect fit. Call Paul today on 0409994409 or email at [email protected] discuss your requirements.
